Housing opens Tuesday, May 2, 2017
FNCE® Shuttle service will be available to and from McCormick Place from all the official FNCE® Hotels except Hyatt Regency McCormick Place and Marriott Marquis Chicago as they are walking distance to McCormick Place. The shuttle schedule will be posted Summer 2017.
Please note: FNCE® shuttle buses are complimentary to those who book their hotel through the official housing bureau, onPeak. If you are not staying at a FNCE® Hotel and/or have not booked through onPeak, but would like to ride the FNCE® shuttles to and from McCormick Place West, you must purchase the Shuttle Bus Pass for $50 during registration. When making your hotel reservations, be sure to list ALL roommates sharing a room with you, so they also receive the FNCE® shuttle pass.
Looking for a Roommate?
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics has teamed up with RoomSync to provide a platform to help you find a roommate during your stay in Chicago. RoomSync is a Facebook app that lets you search for roommates by mutual friends, common interests and lifestyle questions.
Note: You will need a Facebook profile to access and use RoomSync.
- Access RoomSync
- Click the Orange “Come on in!” button
- Login with your Facebook login information
- Join a Community by searching “Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics” (Step 1)
- Select a Sub-Network: “Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo” (Step 2)
- Select Unit Type: “Attendees” (Step 3)
Follow the rest of the form to submit your profile. You can search to see others in the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics’ network to find roommates for our upcoming conference. Start conversations directly with other attendees and see if someone would make a good roommate. You can request each other as roommates in RoomSync, however this will not be reported anywhere. You need to take the necessary steps to book a hotel room together with your conference roommate outside of RoomSync.
