Is there shuttle bus transportation from my hotel? 2018-02-13T14:15:33+00:00

FNCE® Shuttle service will be available to and from the Walter E. Washington Convention Center from the following official FNCE® Hotels:

  • Hilton Garden Inn DC Downtown
  • The Madison Washington, DC

Shuttle service begins Saturday, Oct.20 through Tuesday, October 23. Shuttle buses run every 10-20 minutes. Please display your FNCE® badge when boarding.

Registration category determines admission to the Food & Nutrition Conference & Expo™ 2018 events. Badges are required for admittance to the Exhibit Hall and all Conference educational sessions (does not include Pre-FNCE® excursions and Foundation Symposium events). If lost, badges can be reprinted in the Registration area. There is a $50 charge to reprint any lost or misplaced badges.

Do I have to pre-register for the educational sessions? 2018-02-13T14:24:01+00:00

No, pre-registration is not required for EDU sessions. All sessions, beginning with the Opening Keynote, are open to paid Session attendees and are on a first come first serve basis. The only restriction this year is for the Student Track program on Sunday and Monday which require a student badge for admittance.

I’m a new mom who is breastfeeding. Will there be a dedicated location for me to pump and store milk? 2018-02-13T14:19:20+00:00

Yes, there will be a Mothers Room at the Walter E. Washington Convention Center in room 103 AB. The hours for this room are as follows:

Saturday, October 20 – 7:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.

Sunday, October 21 – 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Monday, October 22 – 7:30 a.m.-5:30 p.m.

Yes, we will have Coat and Baggage check at McCormick Place West. The cost for this is $3 per item and the hours are as follow:

Saturday – 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m

Sunday – 7:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Monday – 7:00 a.m. – 5:15 p.m.

Tuesday – 7:00 a.m. – 4:15 p.m.

Do I need my badge to get into the Opening Keynote Session and Centennial Celebration? 2017-09-27T12:20:16+00:00

Yes, all attendees are required to be wearing a badge in order to enter the Opening Keynote Session.

I need to cancel my registration, what do I do? 2018-02-13T14:03:00+00:00

The FNCE® registration cancellation deadline is September 21, 2018. If you need to cancel your registration, please submit a cancellation request form, available online at www.surveymonkey.com/r/CANCEL18. Requests made prior to September 21, 2018 will be refunded less a $50 administrative fee. Requests received after September 21, 2018 are not guaranteed refunds and will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis. Not all cancellations or request for refunds will be accepted after the deadline date. Cancellations will then take up to 6 weeks to process any refund, if approved.

Yes. Individuals interested in becoming a member can go to the Member Services area located in the West Salon near the registration counter to join. Member Services will provide a temporary membership receipt allowing the individual to register for FNCE® at the member rates.

What is the headquarter hotel? 2018-02-13T13:55:35+00:00

The headquarter hotel will be the Marriott Marquis Washington DC with additional events at the Renaissance Washington DC Downtown Hotel.
