Description
There is a newfound eagerness to speak openly and honestly about women’s health & wellness topics and an acknowledgement that all life stages are on a continuum. As once taboo topics such as fertility, hormones, menopause and stress-management are now discussed on traditional and social media, it is critical for nutrition professionals to stay abreast of the latest research on dietary interventions that can help support women’s health & wellness across the life span. In this briefing, Shirin Hooshmand, PhD, RDN will ground us in the latest research on how the unique combination of nutrients in prunes support women’s health, and then Valerie Agyeman RDN and Lauren Harris Pincus MS, RDN will apply this research with practical health & wellness guidance that nutrition professionals can share with their Gen Z, Millennials, Gen X and Boomer+ audiences to increase knowledge and inspire new health-promoting and self-care behaviors.
