Andrea V. Dunn, RD, LD, CDCES is recently retired, having worked as an Advanced Practice Registered Dietitian at the Cleveland Clinic. She is a Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist. She was appointed in 2022 as the Academy’s Liaison to the Association of Diabetes Care and Education Specialists. Andrea serves on the Academy’s Nutrition Care Process Terminology Work Group and is an Associate Editor for Diabetes Spectrum Journal (American Diabetes Association). Andrea has volunteered for the Diabetes DPG for many years, including serving as chair and is a past-recipient of the Distinguished Service Award. She is also a member of the Weight Management and Healthy Aging DPGs. Andrea has a strong interest in prevention and treatment of diabetes and malnutrition in the aging population.
