Kevin L. Sauer, PhD, RDN, FAND is past President of Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and has extensive leadership experience across the profession. He is Professor of Food, Nutrition, Dietetics, and Health at Kansas State University, Manhattan, KS, where he co-directs the Center of Excellence for Food Safety in Child Nutrition Programs. Dr. Sauer has extensive experience in administration and management, including healthcare and food and nutrition services, child nutrition and school nutrition programs, college/university dining, and corporate foodservice. He is an award-winning educator who uses innovative teaching methods in distance and campus-based course delivery.
