Dr. Deborah Cohen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Clinical and Preventive Nutrition Sciences, School of Health Professions at Rutgers University. Prior to academia, Deborah was a clinical dietitian for many years primarily in bone marrow transplant, critical care, and oncology. For the past 20+ years, Deborah has been dedicated to the academic setting, teaching at both the undergraduate and graduate levels (virtual and face-to-face), as well as in interprofessional education. She has also served as a DPD Director and Assistant DI Director and was twice elected to serve as President, of the New Mexico Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics (NMAND) affiliate. Since 2021, Deborah has served NDEP as the Northeast Regional Director.
