Samantha is the Director of Sports Nutritition at Oklahoma State University. Previously she served as a postdoctoral research associate and sports Registered Dietitian with the University of Mississippi. Her research revolves around evaluating ways of improving athlete health and wellness from several areas. Specific areas of interest include gaining a better understanding of how sport dietitians and other practitioners can assist athletes in their hydration status, Vitamin D levels, disordered eating/eating disorders, and overall nutrition knowledge. She earned her Doctor of Philosophy in Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise from Virginia Tech and her Bachelor in Science degree in Exercise Science from the University of South Carolina.
