Satya Jonnalagadda, PhD, MBA, RDN, serves as Vice President, Scientific and Clinical Affairs at Medifast. In this role, she is responsible for identifying new innovations in the health and wellness space as well as maintaining the scientific integrity and evidence-based approach to the company’s product development and clinically proven plans. Dr. Jonnalagadda brings a deep understanding of nutrition and food science and decades of experience in academic, clinical and industry global research and development contexts, having published in more than 60 peer reviewed publications in key scientific journals, contributed to several book chapters and presented at scientific and professional conferences. She is an active member of several scientific organizations, such as the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and American Society for Nutrition.
