Lauren Williams, MCN, RDN, LD, is a clinical dietitian at Baylor Scott & White’s McLane Children’s Medical Center in Temple, TX. As a pediatric lipid dietitian, Ms. Williams provides medical nutrition therapy for pediatric patients with genetic and acquired dyslipidemias. Ms. Williams is a member of the National Lipid Association (NLA), for which she serves as an At-Large Member for the Southwest Lipid Association Board of Directors, a member of the NLA Scientific Meetings Committee, and a participant in the NLA Pediatric Workgroup.
Ms. Williams has authored multiple peer-reviewed articles on pediatric cardiovascular nutrition and was co-chair for Nutrition Interventions for Youth with Dyslipidemia – an NLA Clinical Perspective. Ms. Williams received her Bachelor of Science in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M University and a Master of Clinical Nutrition at UT Southwestern in Dallas, TX.
