D’Jeanne Florence is an accomplished nutrition and dietetics expert with 16 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She has held a variety of positions, including executive leadership, clinical dietitian, and dietitian consultant. She is the Executive Director of Nutrition and Dining Services at PruittHealth, where she oversees a cross-functional team of dietitians across four states and over one hundred long-term care facilities. D’Jeanne is exceptionally adept at collaborating across organizations to maximize patient care, possesses clinical, informatics, and leadership expertise, and has effectively advanced nutrition departments within the healthcare industry.
D’Jeanne’s experience includes launching multiple initiatives to assist with food budget control by establishing new partnerships, integrating technological platforms, and optimizing contracts. She has designed orientation and training programs for new dietitians and assisted in the creation of a malnutrition analytics report to identify residents at risk of malnutrition in order to enhance patient care, reimbursement, and quality measures. She has also served as a consultant dietitian, renal dietitian, and clinical nutritionist, assessing nutritional needs, developing dietary-care plans, providing nutritional counseling, and supervising food service operations to ensure adherence to nutritional, safety, sanitation, and quality standards.
D’Jeanne possesses an MS in Health Care Informatics from the University of San Diego and a BS in Nutrition Sciences from Georgia State University. She is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics of Georgia, and the Nutrition Informatics Dietetic Practice Group.
