Monica Amburn, MS, RDN, has a 20-year career spanning multiple settings, with a focus on business development and strategic food and nutrition communications in retail and corporate settings. Currently, Monica serves as Vice President at Eat Well Global, a highly specialized strategic consultancy with a mission to empower global change agents in food and nutrition through insights, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to this position, Monica spent over ten years working in the food retail industry, first as a corporate dietitian and communications manager with Southeastern Grocers, representing the BI-LO and Winn-Dixie brands. Following this position, Monica served as Senior Director of Health and Wellness at Vestcom, where she supported the healthyAisles® health and wellness attribute database and developed bespoke retailer communications aligned to regulatory guidelines for display at the point-of-sale. Monica completed her Bachelor’s degree and dietetic internship at Radford University, and her Master’s degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from the University of North Florida. Monica is a long-time member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a member of the Food and Culinary Professionals and Dietitians in Business and Communications DPGs.
