Irmalis Flores-Gonzalez MS, RDN, LD

Irmalis Flores Gonzalez, MS, RD, LD, received a Bachelor of Science in family ecology-nutrition and dietetics from the University of Puerto Rico and a Master of Science in clinical nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science. Ms. Flores is currently a level IV NICU dietitian at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital Medical Center in Cincinnati, OH, with over 10 years of experience. Ms. Flores has been integral in many processes in her current position, including developing and implementing written education material on the PeaPod Air Displacement Plethysmography system, neonatal metabolic bone disease protocol, and human milk analyzer implementation process, among other hospital processes. She also presented for staff on metabolic bone disease protocol and mid-upper arm circumference measurements and routinely conducted presentations on infant formula types for staff onboardings. She has also presented a poster at the 2022 American Society for Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition on her recent article on Optimizing Nutrition during the use of Carpediem™ in the Neonatal Setting.
