Sue Evanchak is the Nutrition Data Manager for the UPMC Health System, headquartered in Pittsburgh, PA. She is a proud graduate of Penn State University and has been employed with UPMC for more than 25 years. As the Computrition Software System Administrator and Team Manager, Sue manages systemwide nutrition software implementation and interoperability projects for 35 UPMC hospitals in Pennsylvania, New York and Maryland. She is the Co-Chair of the UPMC Shadyside Informatics and Technology Committee, and serves on various Clinical Nutrition, Culinary and Patient Innovation Committees for UPMC. Sue is a past member of the Academy’s Nutrition Informatics Committee and is a founding member and past Nominating Chair of the Nutrition Informatics DPG. As an active member of the Clinical Nutrition Management DPG, Sue currently serves as Nutrition Informatics Sub-Unit Chair. In 2020, Sue was awarded the Keystone Award by the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and is a 2-time recipient of UPMC’s Award for Commitment and Excellence in Service (ACES).
