Lindsay Esposito is in her third year as an Advanced Clinical Dietitian at Northwestern Medicine, where her work is centered around helping student athletes use nutrition to fuel both athletic and academic success. In her current role, Esposito is the primary dietitian for five teams at Northwestern University (NU) and is responsible for team and staff education, meal planning, individual nutrition counseling, and food and supplement security. She also serves as the lead preceptor of NU Performance Nutrition’s dietetic internship program, where she is tasked with curriculum development and mentorship of “sports RDs to be”.
Esposito previously served as the Assistant Director of Performance Nutrition at Purdue University, where she worked with 11 out of their 18 teams over her four years there. She is a Board-Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics (CSSD) with degrees from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and Concordia University Chicago. Esposito is a member of the Collegiate Professional and Sports Dietetics Association, Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the Sports Human Performance Nutrition dietetic practice group.
