Angie Hasemann Bayliss is proud to support a team of over 70 talented RDNs at the University of Virginia Health as the Clinical Nutrition Manager. She has called UVA home for 15 years, first serving as an outpatient pediatric dietitian and later as the Dietetic Internship Director.
Her work in the community and in leadership organizations led her to being named the Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year in Virginia, and she has served the state as affiliate President. Angie has been honored as Clinician of the Year for Morrison Healthcare and with the Kansas State University College of Human Ecology Young Professional Award.
With experience teaching undergrad and graduate students at UVA and physicians across the state of Virginia, as well as the public through over 20 TV appearances, countless interviews for articles on nutrition, and over 150 presentations, she’s no stranger to nutrition education. Angie is an Instructor in the UVA School of Nursing and the Nutrition Thread Leader in the UVA School of Medicine. Angie holds three Bachelors’ Degrees, in Nutrition, Exercise Science, and Dietetics, from Kansas State University, and she earned her Masters of Science Degree in Health Communication from Boston University.
