Carrina Burke MS, RD, CDN, CNSC is the Associate Director of Clinical Nutrition for the NYC Health + Hospitals system. Carrina has extensive experience in all aspects of clinical nutrition, including management in acute care and ambulatory services. Previously assumed lead project responsibilities at two different hospital systems for the transition to EPIC EMR and the upgrade of CBORD Foodservice suite, which entailed hospital policy changes, staff and manager training, clinical decision making, and therapeutic diet compliance. In her current role, she leads nutrition informatics and performance improvement initiatives, and drives nutrition best practices in the ambulatory care practices across the system. Actively maintains Nutrition Support Clinician and NY state certifications, and is currently registered with the Commission on Dietetic Registration.
Carrina has obtained her undergraduate degree in Biology at Fordham University and her Master’s Degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Boston University.
