Tracy Dell Italia MS, RDN, CDN has 30 years’ of experience in the healthcare industry. During her career she has held various roles as a Clinical Nutrition Manager, System Training Manager and Sr. Director of Nutrition for a New York City Health Care System comprised of 15 Acute and Post-Acute facilities. As a training manager supporting 70 managers, she facilitated management and diversity programs. Throughout her Sodexo Clinical Nutrition management career, she has successfully led Hospital and Post-Acute care teams to standardize policies, implement Electronic Medical records with interfaced diet office software systems and expanded clinical services in the ambulatory care areas. She has collaborated with culinary teams to develop system menus to meet the cultural needs of the populations served, implement Meatless Mondays expanding plant based options while ensuring these menus meet food policy standards. In her current role as a Sodexo Client Executive, she oversees both clinical and food service operations at five Post-Acute facilities and her top priority is enhancing the resident experience. Tracy has obtained her undergraduate degree in Dietetics at SUNY Oneonta and her Master’s Degree at Queens College.
