Helen Seagle MS, RD, CSOWM

After completing her undergraduate degree and dietetic internship in New Zealand, Helen attained her master’s degree in community nutrition from Kansas State University. Since then, she has spent most of her career working in the field of body weight regulation, obesity treatment and pediatric nutrition. She has been involved in research, clinical treatment, program development, policy and guideline development in a variety of settings ranging from National Institutes of Health, Center for Human Nutrition at the University of Colorado (collaborating with the National Weight Control Registry), Kaiser Permanente Colorado as well as working in the Lifestyle Medicine program at Children’s Hospital Colorado (CHCO). She is a Clinical Nutrition Manager overseeing dietitians who cover primary care and specialty outpatient clinics at CHCO. She assisted in the development of dietitian training materials for optimizing weight management for youth with neurodevelopmental differences. Additionally, she provides nutrition support for the CHCO Multidisciplinary Prader Willi Syndrome clinic.
