Hannah Altman-Kurosaki MPH, RD

Hannah completed her bachelor’s degree in nutrition at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, OH. She then moved back to her hometown of New York City, where she completed her masters and dietetic internship at the CUNY Graduate School of Public Health and Health Policy. During this time, she worked with organizations such as the American Heart Association and the CUNY Urban Food Policy Institute, and became involved in research, health informatics, and health advocacy. Hannah completed her dietetic clinical rotation at the New York State Psychiatric Institute, working in all units, including eating disorders; substance abuse, psychotic disorders and affective disorders; and severe mental illness. This rotation influenced her decision to continue working in this area for her career. At Children’s Hospital Colorado, Hannah covers all inpatient and partial hospitalization psychiatry services, as well as the Eating Disorder Day Treatment Program and medical admissions; she also supports the outpatient adolescent medicine clinic. A competitive swimmer for 16 years, Hannah still finds enjoyment in being active. Outside of work, you can likely find her at the pool, hiking and walking with her dog Azula, dancing to her favorite music, or cooking.
