Hilary M. Winthrop (previously Miller) is a clinical dietitian and clinical research coordinator at Duke University Hospital. She holds a
Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Dietetics, and is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician (CNSC). She has 8 years of inpatient
clinical nutrition experience including patient populations such as critical care, pulmonary disease, trauma, organ and bone marrow
transplant, and patients requiring TPN and tube feeding. In addition to her clinical work, she now practices primarily as a research
coordinator for clinical trials throughout Duke Health requiring nutrition expertise. In this role, she contributes to study design, enrolls
participants, conducts metabolic cart and muscle ultrasound assessments, as well as data analysis, and drafting manuscripts.
