Amy von Sydow Green, MD, MS, RD is the clinical dietitian at Penn Metabolic Medicine, the department for medical weight management within the University of Pennsylvania health system. She provides both virtual and in-person medical nutrition therapy for patients with obesity and type 2 diabetes. She has been counseling patients undergoing treatment with anti-obesity medications since 2015. She previously worked in the field of obesity research and weight management. Amy also maintains a virtual private nutrition coaching practice, SUND by Amy. In addition to working clinically as a dietitian, Amy is a passionate home chef and has written four cookbooks, published in Sweden. Amy is based in Philadelphia, PA and holds a Master of Science Degree in Human Nutrition from Drexel University (Philadelphia, PA), and a Medical Degree from the Sahlgrenska Academy (Gothenburg, Sweden)
