Drew Hemler (he/him) is an internationally accredited, award-winning registered dietitian with 15 years of collective experience providing nutrition education in academic, community, non-profit, corporate, and private practice settings. He has delivered numerous lectures and workshops for dietitians, allied practitioners, and the general public through Academy affiliates; higher education associations; and adult learning, corporate, and non-profit wellness programs.
For a decade, Drew has devoted himself to community service in the field of food, nutrition, and dietetics. He has held leadership positions for the electronic Nutrition Care Process Terminology platform, the Commission on Dietetic Registration, the College of Dietitians of Ontario, the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and most recently, he joined the Academy’s Committee for Lifelong Learning. Over the past seven years, Drew has contributed to dietetics practice regulation, competence assessment, professional development and training, program planning, and events management. He celebrates dietitians in all areas of practice and is proud to be a Fellow of our Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
