Donna Belcher is the Assistant Director, Clinical Nutrition at the Massachusetts General Hospital and the Massachusetts General Hospital for Children in Boston, Massachusetts. She manages approximately 30 nutrition professionals, primarily inpatient dietitians with some additional outpatient clinic coverage, and two nurse practitioners. Donna is a registered dietitian and has worked in a variety of locations and settings for over 20 years, always keeping east of the Mississippi River. She holds board certifications as both a CDCES and CNSC and is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
Currently, Donna is chair-elect for the CNM Dietetic Practice group and was previously the QPI sub-unit chair. She has participated in, coached, and been faculty for Mass General Brigham’s Continuous Process Improvement Leadership Program.
Donna completed her undergraduate degree in Nutritional Sciences at University of Vermont; holds a Master of Science degree in Nutrition & Public Health from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst. She completed her dietetic internship at Tulane University, School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine and Doctor of Education in Organizational Leadership and Health Care Administration from Grand Canyon University.
