Nicci Brown, MS, RDN, FAND is a Registered Dietitian specializing in nutrition programming and management. Currently, she is the Program Director for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation (Foundation) in Chicago.
In this role, Nicci leads a variety of philanthropic giving programs, including directing the Foundation’s Fellowship program; supporting research projects; overseeing the scholarship, award, and research grant programs; and managing the Foundation’s signature programs Kids Eat Right and Future of Food.
Nicci is passionate about empowering Registered Dietitian Nutritionists (RDNs) to push boundaries and explore nontraditional career paths, including cultivating roles that RDNs are uniquely qualified to fill in and beyond the food, nutrition, and dietetics space.
Nicci graduated from The Ohio State University with her Bachelors in Human Nutrition and Dietetics and completed the coordinated MS/DI program at Rush University Medical Center in Chicago. Prior to her current role, Nicci served as the Foundation’s Senior Program Manager; the Academy’s Project Manager for Second Century Initiatives and Planning; and an Account Executive at FoodMinds.
