Margaret Dittloff, MS RD, is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Product Manager with over 25 years of experience in software development for the healthcare industry. She holds a Master of Science in clinical nutrition from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science, and a Bachelor of Science in food service management from Iowa State University. Prior to joining Junum in 2019 as the Head of Product, Margaret was a Research Project Manager at the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, where she managed the Academy’s Health Informatics Outcomes (ANDHII) nutrition data outcomes registry/applications and worked on the electronic Nutrition Care Process Terminology (eNCPT) website content including multiple language translations for the terminology. As the Director of Product Management at CBORD for more than 15 years, she managed a multi-product portfolio and oversaw design and development of nutrition/diet office and patient meal order ordering solutions for the acute care hospital market. She has also held other management positions in contract foodservice operations from college and university dining to community nutrition programs for seniors. Margaret is a national advocate for the inclusion of nutrition in health IT standards and a demonstrated leader in nutrition informatics including roles as past-chair of the Academy’s Nutrition Informatics and Interoperabiltiy and Standards Committees, and ASPEN’s Clinical Nutrition Informatics Committee. She received the Academy’s 2021 Excellence in Practice Award for Informatics.
