Mindy Hermann is an accomplished writer and editor for consumer, industry and medical media. Her most recent work includes monthly articles in Produce Business, along with contributions to Foodservice Director and Pastry Arts. More than 300 consumer credits include articles in Prevention, Family Circle, Readers Digest, Arthritis Self-Management, Diabetic Living, and others. Hermann was the nutrition editor for Child. Her professional articles have appeared in journals that include the Journal of the American Dietetic Association, Today’s Dietitian, Nutrition Today, Current Developments in Nutrition, and Food and Nutrition.
Ms. Hermann is a specialist in food and nutrition product and service communications. Her work includes writing consumer brochures, developing web content, writing medical articles and other materials, drafting whitepapers, analyzing and interpreting market research, formulating communications strategies, and advising clients on nutrition communications. She is the consultant manager for the Danone Institute North America.
Mindy Hermann was the writer for Barbara Rolls, Ph.D. of The Ultimate Volumetrics. She has co-authored numerous books.
Ms. Hermann began her career as a Clinical Diet/Nutrition Specialist at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center in New York City. She earned a bachelor’s degree from UCLA and an MBA in marketing from New York University. She is a registered dietitian nutritionist and member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Food and Culinary Professionals and the New York Women’s Culinary Alliance. Mindy is the incoming vice chair of the Academy’s Committee for Lifelong Learning and served as a spokesperson for the New York State and American Dietetic Associations.
