Constantina Papoutsakis PhD, RD

Dr. Constantina (Tina) Papoutsakis is Senior Director, of the Data Science Center at the Academy (Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics) in Chicago. She oversees the Academy’s nutrition terminology development, related international stakeholder engagement, and an outcomes registry platform. Tina has chaired the Professional Practice Committee of EFAD (European Federation of Associations of Dietitians) and was member of EFAD’s Executive Committee. She has worked on initiatives to monitor best practices among dietitians internationally with emphasis on Care Process and Terminology. She has lectured and organized workshops for health professionals and university students in several countries in Europe, Asia, and the US. Dr Papoutsakis teaches university courses as Adjunct Professor. She has worked as a clinician and researcher, served as a clinical and managerial expert of NIH funded cancer randomized clinical trials, and publishes widely on nutrition/dietetic topics. The emphasis of her research is on the impact of nutrition interventions in chronic disease outcomes.
