Meg is a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, a Pennsylvania Licensed Dietitian Nutritionist, the author of several publications, co-author of the textbook Managing Clinical Nutrition Services and has spoken at over 50 professional meetings on licensure and policy. She was the 2020-2021 Chair of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Telehealth Task Force and the 2012-2021 Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Licensure Task Force Chair. She serves on the Academy Legislative and Public Policy Committee and ANDPAC. Previously she served in the House of Delegates and as Chair of the Academy Consumer Protection and Licensure Sub-Committee. Meg’s memberships include the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, Central Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the Culture of Gender and Age MIG, and the Food and Nutrition Professionals and Nutrition Entrepreneurs DPGs. In 2015, she received the Keystone Award from the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. In 2016, the Academy and the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics honored her as the Outstanding Dietitian of the Year. She was honored as a recipient of the Academy Medallion Award in 2021.
