Susan C. Kim is a nutrition manager at the University of Southern California Transplant Institute for the kidney, pancreas and liver transplant program and living organ donor program. Ms. Kim is excited to be part of the new living organ donor wellness program to support the long-term health of donors. Ms. Kim also oversees a Community Nutrition Education and Health Food Voucher Program to address food insecurity. Prior to transplant nutrition, she was at the USC Longevity Institute, with a research focus on nutrition and aging. She conducted nutrition research on dietary patterns across different ethnic groups and the relationships to chronic diseases and fasting-mimicking diet clinical trials. She was also a contributor to The Longevity Diet book by Valter Longo, Ph.D. She holds an M.S. in Nutrition, Healthspan, and Longevity from the USC Davis School of Gerontology. Ms. Kim is interested in helping and teaching others live healthier, longer lives through evidence-based nutrition.
