Jackie Buell, PhD, RDN, CSSD, ATC
Asst Professor, Clinical
Ohio State University
Jackie is a dual-credentialed sports dietitian and athletic trainer. Her work at Ohio State University includes working with patients through the Sports Medicine clinic in addition to her teaching and research responsibilities. She has had an iDXA machine in her laboratory since 2009, and engages graduate students in research to promote bone health and body composition in athletes. Given that she sees clients in the clinic, the iDXA is also used for clinical assessment. This continuous learning curve has Jackie counseling a wide variety of patients on lifestyle to promote good bone health. She will share her research, and some clinical case studies within the session.
