Kelly Kane, MS, RD, LDN, CNSC is the Director of Nutrition and Business Operations and Dietetic Internship Director at the Frances Stern Nutrition Center at Tufts Medical Center and Assistant Professor in the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University. She has been a Registered Dietitian for over 20 years where she has worked in the clinical setting providing medical nutrition therapy for acutely ill adults and children as well as educating patients on ways to improve their health with nutrition. She has taught nutrition to undergraduate and graduate students as well as health professionals including dietetic interns, physician assistants, and medical students for over 10 years and was awarded Outstanding Dietetics Educator of the northeast region in 2020. She is the co-author of the textbook, Advanced Medical Nutrition Therapy by Jones and Bartlett Learning and serves as Editor of the quarterly peer reviewed journal, Topics in Clinical Nutrition. She also works as a nutrition consultant with various business and physician groups and has served as a nutrition subject matter expert for various law firms. She is a Certified Nutrition Support Clinician, active member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, the American Society of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, as well as a member of the Nutrition Dietetic Educators and Preceptors practice group.
