Sherri Jones, MS, MBA, RDN, LDN, SSGB, CPHQ, FAND

Sherri Jones is currently the Quality Manager at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center (UPMC) Presbyterian Shadyside working in the Department of Patient Safety, Innovation, and Quality. Prior to her Quality Manager position, she functioned as the Clinical Nutrition Manager for 13 years at the same hospital. In her current role as a Senior Improvement Specialist, Sherri works with a variety of departments throughout the hospital assisting and leading quality improvement projects. Sherri has been active in the dietetics profession by serving in various capacities at the district, state, and national levels. Most notably, Sherri has served as Chair of the Academys Nutrition Care Process Standardized Language Committee, Chair of the Academys Quality Management Committee, and Chair of the Clinical Nutrition Management Dietetic Practice Group (CNM DPG), and is currently serving as a delegate to the Academys House of Delegates, and member of the Committee for Lifelong Learning. In 2010 Sherri earned the Outstanding Dietetics Educator Award from the Pennsylvania Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and in 2012, the recognition of Outstanding Dietitian of Pennsylvania. In 2020 Sherri was awarded the prestigious Medallion Award from the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics.
