Marcia Kyle, RDN, LD, CDCES, FAND

With more than 25 years experience in nutrition and diabetes prevention, and management as Maine Healths Regional Director of Nutrition and Diabetes Services, Marcy provides digital diabetes prevention and weight loss programs for the Penobscot Bay YMCA, Fruit Street Health and Eastport Health, a Federally Qualified Health Center. In addition to her professional responsibilities, she is a volunteer member of the Diabetes Action Alliance of Maine. Marcy currently serves as Chair of the of the Academys Nutrition Services Payment Committee, is treasurer for the Academy Foundation Board of Directors and was a past Speaker of the Academys House of Delegates. She also has served on the Academys House Leadership Team and Board of Directors and the Evidence-Based Practice Committee. As Vice-chair of the Council on Future Practice, she co-authored the Academys Visioning Report 2017: A Preferred Path Forward for the Nutrition and Dietetics Profession.
Committed to helping guide public policy on nutrition, Marcy was a past member of the Academys Legislative Public Policy Committee and the Maine Academys Public Policy Panel and continues to meet with national and state legislators as well as with top agency officials to advocate for coverage of services provided by nutrition professionals.
