Dainas work focuses on preparing child care industry professionals as they navigate and implement practices that support breastfeeding families throughout their Early Care and Education (ECE) journey. Dainas work also includes: Infant & Young Child Feeding in Emergencies (IYCF-E) and expanding lactation Continuity of Care (CoC). She conducts trainings and provides one-on-one technical assistance related to the CGBI mission. She is an active member of the United States Breastfeeding Committee and a co-founder of Queen City Cocoa B.E.A.N.S., a Charlotte, NC based organization with a mission to improve African American health through increased breastfeeding support.
