Jen Nguyen is the Director of Nutrition at Sweet Pea Plant-Based Kitchen and an Associate for Bazilian, Inc. She is the founding member for the nutrition program and services at Sweet Pea, a chef-prepared, plant-based, meal delivery company based in Rochester, New York. Jens formal working relationship with Dr. Wendy Bazilian started when she was awarded the Frederick Green Memorial Nutrition Communications Experience Award as a student. Now as a young dietitian working with Wendy, shes involved in various media projects and professional presentations.
In addition to professional activities, she is also actively involved with the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics Foundation, serving as a Director and Secretary from 2019-2022 and currently serves on the diversity committee for several DPGs. She was awarded Outstanding Dietetic Student in Didactic Program by the California Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2016 and Recognized Young Dietitian of the Year by the New York State Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics in 2022.
Jen received her undergraduate degree in nutrition and dietetics with a minor in hospitality management from California State University, Long Beach and completed her dietetic internship at Cornell University.
