Lily Correa, MPH, RD, DipACLM is the Director of Education and Training for the Office of Nutrition and Lifestyle Medicine at NYC Health + Hospitals and the registered dietitian for Bellevue Hospitals Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program. Lily is passionate about plant-based nutrition and firmly believes the kitchen is the greatest tool for promoting optimal health and wellness.
From 2014-2018, Lily worked as a registered dietitian/bilingual health educator at the preventive medicine department at Kaiser Permanente (KP) in Riverside, CA, where she helped develop and launch Kaisers flagship Weight Management programHealthy Balance. At Kaiser, Lily was the co-lead dietitian for the demonstration kitchen at the outpatient clinic where she led plant-based focused cooking classes for patients and staff, in both English and Spanish. It was during her time at KPs kitchen that she developed her love for plant-based cuisine.
In early 2018, Lily moved to New York to pursue health-supportive culinary arts studies. After graduating from the Natural Gourmet Institute in 2018, Lily joined the team that helped develop and launch Bellevue Hospitals Plant-Based Lifestyle Medicine Program.
Lily graduated from Loma Linda University in 2014 where she obtained a Master of Public Health with a concentration in Nutrition & Dietetics. Lily has presented on topics of nutrition and lifestyle medicine at numerous national and international academic conferences and for community-based organizations.
