Judith Gilbride, PhD, RDN, FAND

Dr. Judith Gilbride, recipient of the 2018 Marjorie Hulsizer Copher Award and formerly the recipient of a Medallion Award, is a Professor Emeritus of the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University. She has been an educator at New York University for most of her career, teaching dietary managers, nutrition and dietetics majors and doctoral students. She advanced from teaching assistant to lecturer, instructor, assistant, associate and then to full professor at NYU. Currently she is Faculty Council Secretary in the NYU Steinhardt School. She has served the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as President, House of Delegates Speaker, Foundation Director-at-Large, and as a member of numerous committees and task forces. For the past 18 years, she has been a Foundation Advisor for the WimpfheimerGuggenheim International programs.
