Associate Professor; Faculty Co-Lead – Jack, Joseph, and Morton Mandel Wellness and Preventive Care Pathway

Dr. Stephanie Harris is an Associate Professor in the Department of Nutrition at Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She is also the Faculty Co-Lead of the JJM Mandel Wellness and Preventive Care Pathway in the School of Medicine, where she is involved with the development and implementation of wellness, lifestyle medicine and culinary medicine curriculum for medical students. In addition, she is actively engaged in the Universitys interprofessional education initiatives for health care professionals.

Dr. Harris has been nominated for various teaching and mentoring awards, and most recently was the recipient of the 2020 NDEP North Central Region Outstanding Dietetic Educator of the Year Award and the 2022 CWRU Carl F. Wittke Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Teaching. She is currently serving as Vice-Chair of the Committee for Lifelong Learning for the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and Co-Chair of the Culinary Special Interest Group for the Academic Consortium of Integrative Medicine and Health.

Dr. Harris obtained her PhD in Nutritional Biochemistry & Human Metabolism and her MS in Nutrition from CWRU. She completed her dietetic internship at University Hospitals Cleveland Medical Center and received her BS in Nutrition, Food and Agriculture from Cornell University.
