Shannon Robson, PhD, MPH, RD

Shannon Robson, PhD, MPH, RD is an Associate Professor in the Department of Behavioral Health and Nutrition at the University of Delaware. She is the Nutrtion Science PhD Program Director. She also co-directs the Energy Balance and Nutrition Laboratory where her research is focused on eating behaviors in young children that impact energy intake and diet quality for the promotion of chronic disease prevention. Dr. Robson completed her graduate work and dietetic internship at the University of Tenessee and received her undergraduate education at the University of Delaware. Within the Academy, Dr. Robson currently serves as the Vice-Chair for the Council on Future Practice and is a member of the editorial board for the Journal of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. Previous leadership roles within the Academy include Chairperson of the Committee on Public Health Community Nutrition, delegate for the Public Health Community Nutrition Practice Group and member of the Research Committee for the Weight Management DPG.
