Ms. Onuoha is a Registered Dietitian, a Board Certified Lactation Consultant and a Fellow of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetucs. She has worked on several maternal child projects and has spent the past 2 decades presenting on a variety of breastfeeding topics. She has served on the International Board of Lactation Consultants Examiners and has chaired the NYC Brooklyn Alliance for Breastfeeding Empowerment. She also served on several breastfeeding task forces and has trained over 300 peer counselors in WIC. Ms. Onuoha currently works as a hospital administrator at the Brooklyn Hospital Center in NYC where she also oversees a large WIC program that serves over 20,000 ethnically diverse clients monthly. She is a mother of 4 children who were all breastfed.
