Michele Redmond, MS, RDN, FAND is a French-trained Chef and Food Enjoyment Activist on a mission to help Americans connect the pleasure of eating to wellbeing and health. She teaches, speaks and writes on the topics of neurogastronomy, culinary nutrition and creating a more positive food culture. Michele directs The Taste Workshop which provides nutrition communication services, consulting and education events nationally and internationally to culinary venues, corporations and nutrition-health organizations.

A frequent professional speaker and contributor to Food & Nutrition magazine, Micheles communication activities also include Facebook Live cooking videos, online culinary nutrition courses and improv comedy acting. Michele was 2018 Member of the year for the International Association of Culinary Professionals and Chairs the IACP Cooking Schools and Teachers Section.

Michele has been a caterer, research chef, food consultant and culinary nutrition instructor for culinary schools, colleges, diabetes and corporate wellness programs and adjunct chef instructor at Le Cordon Bleu in Paris. She is a past-president of the Central Arizona Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics and a graduate of ASU, U of A, FSU, Le Cordon Bleu, Paris and the Hautes Etudes du Gout (HEG or Institute in Advanced Studies of Taste) in France via the University of Reims.
