Nancy M. DiMarco, PhD, RDN, LDN, FACSM is Professor Emerita of Texas Woman’s University, Department of Nutrition and Food Sciences. She was the Director of the Institute for Women’s Health, Director of the Exercise and Sports Nutrition Master’s Program, and oversaw the Pioneer Performance Clinic. She has over 60 peer reviewed articles concerning the female athlete, bone health, and iodine metabolism. Her most recent research endeavor involved tracking the health of firefighters, yearly, and assessing their fitness level, physiological parameters, and indicators of stress.
