Melainie Rogers, MS, RDN, CDN, CEDRD-S, is a Certified Eating Disorder Registered Dietitian dedicated to supporting others in their quest to achieve long-term recovery. She is the Founder and Executive Director of BALANCE eating disorder treatment center, and melainie rogers nutrition, LLC in New York City. BALANCE offers various outpatient programs for people of all ages, sizes, and genders, including a day and evening program, nutritional counseling, and groups for men, loved ones, body image, emotional eating concerns, and more.
Among her many affiliations, Melainie is the founder and recent past president of the New York City Chapter of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals (IAEDP), an Advisory Board Member at the Center for the Study of Anorexia and Bulimia (CSAB), and a former Board Member of the Binge Eating Disorder Association (BEDA). She is also an adjunct professor in the Department of Nutrition and Food Studies at New York University. Melainie is a nationally recognized expert on eating disorders and has spoken at national and international professional conferences on various topics related to the research and treatment of eating disorders.
Melainie has appeared on television and radio, including the Today Show, The Early Show, MSNBC, and others. She recently launched and published Redefining Wellness: The Ultimate Diet-Free Guide, a free e-book that contains contributions from 150 experts.
