The ketogenic diet has recently experienced a resurgence of interest and has been applied in several clinical nutrition treatment protocols with some success. Not surprisingly, it is also been touted by some in the sports nutrition world as a method to improve endurance performance. The presenters will focus on what exercise science tell us and debate the efficacy and safety of a ketogenic diet for endurance sport.
