Dietetics professionals are improving patient outcomes and changing the culture of malnutrition diagnosis and intervention by leading and coordinating quality care with interdisciplinary teams. This session will demonstrate how registered dietitian nutritionists (RDNs) are implementing the Malnutrition Quality Improvement Initiative (MQii) and the malnutrition electronic quality measures (eCQMs) to capture key nutrition care, diagnosis, and intervention data and outcomes that matter to patients, physicians, nurses and administrators in the hospital and post-discharge.
