Through facilitated food discovery experiences, such as healthy food tastings, participants build their food literacy.

Learning Objectives:

  • Describe how an innovative health impact initiative is empowering Americans to make better food choices.
  • Summarize the potential health benefits of a community nutrition program.
  • Apply the strategies and free resources (educational experiences, recipes and handouts) to build food literacy in your community.
