In this session, Dr. Meydani will provide a general overview of nutrition and immunity, properties of COVID-19 infection and then focus on what is known about role of nutrition in COVID 19 prevention and/or treatment or can be learned from experience with other closely related viral infections.

  • Describe the potential of specific nutrients to provide protection against infection with COVID 19.
